Welcome to Cellvion
We talk about micromobility, smart cities, and an electrified future
The benefit of a newsletter is simple - it’s a quick and easy way to digest information about an industry or topic and network with other like-minded individuals.
That’s the goal with Cellvion. We want to create an active, engaging platform to get people thinking about the cities of the future - of your future. Our goal is to provide you a depth of information about one key aspect of these future “smart cities”: micromobility.
Electric powered micromobility is changing the landscape of urban mobility before our own eyes - more people than ever before have access to small, electrified vehicles that give them full control of their daily transportation needs. It’s an amazing future unfolding in front of us, ripe with opportunity and room for growth.
But we’re here to talk about the ugly side of micromobility - the topics that tend to get swept under the rug, but are ever so crucial in cementing (or uprooting) its role in our urban landscapes.
We’re not here to talk about the newest and hottest e-bikes on the market. We’re here to get people thinking about the problems that are plaguing the future of e-mobility, and just how deep these problems are reaching into the very structure of society. We’ll be discussing:
🔥 Problems with fires and lithium-ion batteries
🛑 Safety concerns with riders of e-mobility systems
🛴 Ridesharing and its inherent flaws
⚡️ The effects of micromobility on the electric grid
🤖 The role of artificial intelligence in mobility technology
🌆 Building the supporting infrastructure to keep up with scale
🌳 Sustainability incentives and the LEED initiative
⚙️ Weak points in the mobility supply chain
And more…
Join us as we unpack the complex yet fascinating story of micromobility and evaluate its potential impact on our future. After all, it’s a future that will inevitably be more interconnected than ever before, and it’s a future to start learning about sooner than later.
On that note, feel free to reach out to us with any topics you want to see discussed, and leave your thoughts in the comments below.
